Gateway to Africa
Tangier
Where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, and Europe is visible across the strait.
Where two continents meet
Discover Tangier
Tangier sits at the very tip of Morocco, where the Strait of Gibraltar separates it from Spain by just a few miles โ on a clear day you can see Europe from its hills. It's long had an international, bohemian streak, and its Kasbah and medina reward slow wandering just as much as the bigger cities do.
A great stop if you're arriving by ferry from Spain, or pairing the north of Morocco with Chefchaouen and the Rif.
